We found Anita (born the spring of 2009) in the basement, where we was nursing her kittie. Kittie found a home super fast, but Anita is still waiting, now in foster care for a few months. She gets on really well with the resident cats and is the most gentle, docile cat. She is learning every day to trust humans and she has made great progress. She now sleeps with us and loves a good tummy rub. She would be perfect with children because she is extremely patient and non aggressive (she has never bitten or scratched us!). Although she was used to living outside, she is extremely happy to be an indoor cat - she actually is very scared of the outside world. Please give her a chance if you are looking for a cat with a sweet, gentle personality. Anita has had all her shots, was microchipped and sterilized. - homed 08/2010
